I've learned to never leave a job until you definitely have something else lined up. I did that a few years ago. Very big mistake. Now I've taken that mistake and turned it into something positive and bettered myself from it.

Hi, Amy... Even being on YA, we are exposed to all kinds of nasty, improper things... I have clicked on a couple of links on innocent-seeming questions on Polls & Surveys, and found horrible things I wish I had never seen.
My way of thinking has been going through modifications since I started this whole thing called life - one valuable lesson is to never allow myself to waste time and energy on anger.... it sure saves me becoming bitter and old. :-)
