Dollmakers? How do you put yarn hair on?

I'm making cloth dolls and looking for a quicker way to make and apply yarn 'hair' than wefting. Any suggestions?

depends on the kind of doll you are making and how long the hair is....actually what ever you do it is going to take time...gluing is not always the best, sometimes looks tacky and rushed
