If girls can't try out for football, then you need to stop wearing drag. It's ridiculous.

Well, I tried out when I was a sophmore, but I got really sick and missed two months of school. Now I run Cross Country instead of Football, but I like CC better anyway. My school's football team sucked anyway, at least CC is a 'for you' sport and you don't have to rely on anyone. It's not inappropriate for girls to be in sports and be athletic. Women can do anything and feminists have nothing to do with this.

No it isn't wrong. We didn't have a football team at my tiny high school, but I played football with the guys all summer and I enjoyed ,except when the opposing players tried to grab my chest while they were tackling me. A good shot to the crotch was sufficient to stop them. I guess that's why they always wanted me on their team, so they weren't the ones getting hurt! And I wasn't butch either, if that's what you're thinking. I looked fine in a dress and heels too.

A girl in my high school tried out for the team. It became very contirversal but they ended up letting her on the team. Needless to say she sucked.
Also, I know she did it for the attention. The girl doesn't know anything about football so that really bothered me. She was just this aggressive little girl that wanted to be on the team.
During a game, she tried to tackle a guy and she literally bounced off the guy. lol.
I'm all for women rights, but I really think there should be a boundry.
And and ps. She was about 5'0 tall and weight about 100 poounds. No joke.

There is a girl on my son's football team and she's actually better than most of the players. The coaches treats her just like the boys.

Yes, when I was in middle school a girl tried out for the football team and made it. A couple of games later she got rammed by 6 feet tall guys and broke her leg. She got a cast and was on crutches for months, and she never played football again.

It seems a bit crazy to me, even though there are some girls out there who are fairly strong and could probably play well. I know I wouldn't try out because some of the guys there are twice as big as me and I'd rather not be tackled in such a rough sport. I say that if girls want to play football, there should be football teams just for women so that it would be safer and they wouldn't have to go against the guys.
