General prices (at Six Flags Magic Mountian):
soda or water - 20oz --about $3 each
Suvinier bottle - $10 with $1 refills all day (best deal, but you have to carry it around)
1 ride or entrance pic - $13, with discounts for more than one (*if you buy one at one ride, you qualify for the discount at all the photo places so make sure you keep your reciept and show it if you want another pic later)
average meal price (not including a drink) - $7-8 each
thing-a-magigy's at stores - anywhere from $3 to $50 - honestly, all overprices and not really worth it
Games - $2-3 each game (and you will want to win her something! - but can also be a big money pit since it's something to do inbetween the looonnnggg ride lines).
PS. Parking is like $15 - higher than Disney charges!

Now, my super enconomy game plan:
1 - eat breakfast before I go in at fast food place, refill soda b4 leaving & drink on the way so I'm not thirsty anytime soon
2 - get a disposable camera and bring it with me in a small backpack/purse thing and take my own pics when I want to
3 - drink from fountians until ready for lunch
4 - get lunch and upgrade to getting the suvonier cup (only like $5 more than reg lunch price) on 1 meal and share
5 - hang on to cup (thats my gift for the day!) and refill and share when needed, carry around empty when not (any store will give you a bag to carry it in if needed) - ps you can refill with a slurpee for like $2
6 - plan on playing only about 2-3 games and if I win, yipee, another suvioner, if not, oh well!
7 - maybe a snack late in the day (popcorn or something, shared) $5
8 - make sure I look at the entrance photo before I leave - usually they aren't very good - but sometimes they give one's away for free! and make sure I keep the card cuz you can look it up and order it later for the same price from home

Good luck!

Amusement park extras can be very pricey if you don't plan ahead (which you are now, so good for you!).

Depending on how many times you plan on eating at the park, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, will depend on how much money to allot for food and drinks. We always eat breakfast before we go to a park, ride a few rides, then get a snack or lunch. We're almost never at parks late in the day so we don't usually worry about dinner. IF you plan on eating all meals at the park, plan at least $10 per person for the meal, plus another $3 for drinks. If you don't care for the sodas, you can always ask for a courtesy cup of water with ice. You may have to pay $.25 for the cup, but at least you're not paying $3 for the drink.
You can also leave the park and get food at a local restaurant if there is one available. A lot of people also pack coolers in their car and fill with homemade sandwiches and bottled drinks. Leave the cooler in the car, then come and go from the park at your leisure, and enjoy a picnic from your car without having to shell out a lot of money for meals.

For games, if you plan on playing games, expect each one to cost around $5. Some are more, some are less, but $5 is about the normal rate for amusement park games. Depending on how much you play, you may want to bring about $30 for games.

For souveniers, what do you normally buy at amusement parks? I love buying the shirts and sweatshirts, so those are usually around $15-$25 each. Add in anything else like keychains and stuffed animals, snow globes, and jewelry, and you're looking at wanting to have around $50-$100 or so on you for the shopping.

So basically, all in all, you might want to look at bringing around $100-$150 with you. Or, if you don't really want to be tempted to spend that much, bring a small amount of cash, and your ATM card. Most parks these days have ATM machines located throughout their parks, so you can always withdraw money when you need some.

If it's just for food, I'd say $50, but you can always leave the park, get fast food, and come back, but it doesn't sound like you want to. I'd bring another 50 for the games. Remember that they are required by law to give you water for free, so instead of buying large sodas you can just ask for water and they can't charge. I did that when i went with my family to six flags and it worked great.

Food at least 25 dollars per person. Games depends on how well you can do they genearally cost say between 2 and 5 dollars. Pictures lets go on a higher end becasue you may want more money lets say 50 dollars. I think that 150-200 should be good.

Mr Monopoly. with a view to grow to prevail and effective in life.. you are going to be able to desire to understand the paintings of coattail surfing off the coattails of people who very own each and every thing. If the six flags guy grow to be a genuine man or woman... he'd be booted from Six Flags by employing protection for being this style of spaz .

foods are really much expensive over there maybe you should take like chips or food with you and then eat at the car. or just take about 150 dollars. six flags is too much fun i bet your gonna forget about food because I forgot about food and i just wanted to go to rides and then when i came home like at 11 pm then i ate dinner. but i was drinking water the whole time.

well sometimes it depends on which park, but i'd say if you want to buy all that a good $200 to share between the both of you. the food, drinks and merchandise are all overpriced, so you need quiteeeee the chunkachange in your pocket.
