if i jumped from a 5 stories building holding the fan upward..will i be able to fly ?

You'd need a very large fan and a looong extension cord!
Try helium balloons or a giant kite!

In theory, yes. In practice, no. The fan would need to be very large to provide enough lift. It wouldn't be very stable. It would be hard to hold on, especially in the strong wind from the fan. But small, single-person helicopters and ultralight aircraft do exist.

Ever heard of paragliding? You have a massive parachute and a big fan on your back and you fly. That's probably the closest your gonna get.

You will have to point it downward, and If it's big enough, yes....but you will need a long extension cord.
