Pearl Jam is probably one of the best - If not best bands consistantly putting good music over the past 17 yrs. Wish there where more bands today that had the lyrical and musical talent they do. Plus they haven't sold out like so many other bands

I'll agree that most music bands today are #%#. I'm not a big Pearl Jam fan myself, but I'd have to admit Do the Evolution is a pretty sick song.

How many people appreciate the FACT that most average DOGS have much more vocal talent and ability that the Total Abortion of a singer known colloquially as Eddie Cheddar. Seriously how one EARTH can you Squirrel Jam fans not notice The ABSOLUTE FACT That he sings like somebody is Twisting his BA**S OFF!! It's beyond me. I tell you it was a sad sad day for the music industry and for the virgin ears of future generations yet to come when Andrew Wood Died!
For Those who don't know this fact Andrew Wood was the lead singer of Mother Love Bone. Pearl Jam IS Mother Love Bone with Eddie Cheddar as the singer btw.God he makes me want to VOMIT What a horrible reject of a so-called vocalist! You want musical genius from the 1990's try ALICE IN CHAINS with a vocalist WHO CAN ACTUALLY SING!!!

I love Pearl Jam !!! The TEN cd came out while I was pregnant with my first daughter, so I listened to it allllll the time. When she was born, all she would go to sleep to was that cd !!! So, Pearl Jam was a total lifesaver for me !!!

I first saw them live in 95, I think. Back when they were fighting Ticketmaster! Was an amazing show, and they had The Ramones open up for them !!! Definitely a show I will soon not forget !!!

ME ME ME!! I have loved Pearl Jam since around 93-94, when I heard the song "Black" for the first time. I have loved them ever since, and have been accused of being obsessed with them on several occasions, like when I was a Junior in High School and wrote a research paper on them. Hey, they said any famous person!! Eddie Vedders voice is unmatched in depth and can pull emotions out of you that you didn't even know existed. They are the best band ever, in my personal opnion.

They're a great band. Eddie Vedder's got a great voice (I loved the Ramones covers he did with the punk band Zeke) and is a great songwriter. Stone Gossard and Mike McCready are great guitarists, and Jeff Ament is an awesome bass player.

Somebody above me mentioned that their musical geniousness is determined by how influential they are in 20 years. That's b.s. Madonna has been very influential, but nobody would consider her a musical genious. They write great songs, and that's what really matters.

Pearl Jam gripped my attention and stole the show at the Bob Dylan 30th anniversary concert. I think they sang Masters Of War.
I was going to look into them but i never did but for that brief glimpse of them i still think they were excellent.

Their music rocks, from "10" until present day.But Eddie Vedder needs to just shut up and sing the lyrics, and keep his viewpoints to himself. He has been responsible for any decline with the band's sales. Not their music.

I have seen pj three times and own all of there records, as a matter of fact vs. was the first cd I ever played in my first cd player. All the guys are great players and no one can wail and/or sing quiet and beautiful as Eddie. So there are at least three more of us out there.(myself and my two sisters)
