They would IMMEDIATELY tell Shrub to sign an executive order legalizing it. Then they would propose a Constitutional Amendment, which would pass 50 states to 0!

It never matters what the party platform does or doesn't say because the politicians who get elected will legislate whatever way they want. Nobody has to toe a party line because of what the platform says.
Second, I get sick and tired of nimrods pretending that the abortion issue is about men's rights vs. women's rights. The Supreme Dictators were all men when they mis-interpreted the Constitution the way that they did in Roe v. Wade. And there are millions of women who staunchly oppose abortion while, simultaneously, there are millions of men who support the pro-choice point of view. You want to make something important out of generalizations about both men and women. Drop the tired old stereotypes.

choice would be the law...after all, men make rational, informed, pragmatic decisions, while women are emotional, hair brained, incapable of making decision that make sense for themselves, their children and their community.
