Look in the mirror...that is where the answer to your question lies.
Since you choose the passive voice, you cause yourself to be foolish.
Rephrase your question as follows, "Why am *I* losing control of my own life?"

That is becoz. we are running after illussions. The materiliasm has more of a magnetic appeal than ever before. There is an erosion of the family & cultural values. Actually it is all in the mind-set. The more we think about it , the more we are drawn towards it.
Learn to take one things at a time. Focus on the present & not the future. Enjoy smallest of the pleasures that the family & community as a whole has to offer. Instill & implement a discipined approach to your ownself & siblings.
If you take charge of ur ownself & ur family , the community will seem to have been in its own place.

That is a question that certainly needs to be asked. Don't pay attention to these self righteous pompous @sses that give the ridiculous reply that it is solely your own fault. It will be difficult to find any common ground on this issue because so many people that are doing well refuse to look at the millions that are losing because of what is going on in our country today. The media ignores the plight of the growing number of jobless, homeless, etc. and that is exactly the way the government wants it. They want to whitewash everything so as to preserve the reputation of the likes of George W. Bush and Co. I think our governmet is "Enroning" our economy with bogus reports and claims of prosperity. What has happened with the mortgage industry is a clear example of that. Where is the focus on why people are not able to pay their mortgage? Could it be that it is because of gas prices, unemployment issues? Well, we won't worry about that though, Right? Just remember how EAGER your presidents are to sign your jobs away to NAFTA, CAFTA, etc. But, ofcourse, these are just partisan issues, right?

Easy big fella, the only force governing your life is you.
If you've lost control of it, admit yourself to an institution that can provide the appropriate therapy.

Humanity did not design the Universe and we aren't running it.
so, we were never in control. therefore, we can't lose control.
that you thought you were in control was a delusion.
welcome back to reality.
