No. We have no idea what they're private family life is like. They might not be close. We don't always ask our sisters to be maids of honor, do we? She shouldn't be obligated to if she doesn't want to. That's just the public putting pressure on someone in the spotlight without knowing their situation. It's her wedding, and if Barbara isn't maid of honor, so what? She should be happy for her sister. It's in no way scandalous, because it's her personal choice. A scandal would be if he married the wrong twin!

Just because you have a twin doesn't mean they automatically are your maid of honor. My older sister and I agreed that we would be each others brides maids but there was no pressure to be the maids of honor. However I have already been married and had my best friend as my maid of honor so I have no clue what her choice will be. So to answer your question I think it is her choice and like the girl above said that is the least of the Bushes problems!

Ask them both! A lot of people are having more than one now. I did! I couldn't pick between my Sister and my Best Friend (who is basically a sister to me). My sister happened to be married so I had a matron and a maid! My husband had 2 best men, he would have had 3 if I would have let me! So have them both be your maids of honor and have the one you are closer to stand next to you!
