thanks Psymon,,,I have tried to look at this from both sides of the argument but to me it leaves too many questions,,true he was under a lot of pressure and was visibly tired and stressed when being cross questioned by the select committe but if it was suicide didn`t it come at just the right time foir the government,,,or was it something more ?

looks like a 50/50 split on the suicide/killing theory.
I remain open minded on it though...I would like to think it was a sad suicide but it still niggles at me though

Witnesses in the Hutton enquiry were not examined on oath. This to my mind means that they or many of them were at the very best "economical with the truth" and most likely lied. Dr Kelly was murdered no inquest was held because the attorney general decided that the enquiry did the job. funny that at an inquest witnesses are questioned on oath. sadly His family had probably been manoeuvred into such a position on pensions that they were silenced. Yet another example of the complete dishonesty of the Blaiina's government of which "Clown" Brown was a senior member. In conclusion this government has got away with the murderer of an honest professional servant

If it wasn't some Government agency it was mighty convenient for the Government for that to happen. I've also always been suspicious of the sudden death of Robin Cook, a thorn in the Governments side and a fierce critic of the Iraq war. It would have been perfectly feasible to administer a drug that mimicked a heart attack, they do exist.

Hi Mr Murcia, I see you on here a lot.

Don't you think it's just possible that he really did commit suicide, possibly because he was depressed, it's not unheard of after all...

Conspiracy theories are much more exciting though, I agree, I mean, in a best-selling novel the government would definitely have had him done in, maybe by Jason Bourne or someone very similar, who would just disappear into the countryside...

BTW, I've always rated your answers highly...seriously.

"His wife told the inquiry into his death that her husband had been utterly dismayed by the media frenzy around him.

Janice Kelly said he became: "distracted... dejected... desperate...I just thought he had a broken heart. He had shrunk into himself".

Occam's razor
"entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity.'

i think the media was responsible for him taking his own life. belive me, the BBC would have reported anything that would be suspect.

if you will take a look at his pic as shown in the link below, you can see the disgust and anger on his face. he was certainly disturbed by the attention.

another possible reason is who knows what was in his background that he might not have want the public to know..

i saw one poster blames it on bush..figures..he is responsible for everything, including the weather.

He was kept quiet by Government agencies like MI6 and 5. His disclosures would have brought the present Government to its knees. But seeing that there is no relevant opposition, that dirty campaign slipped quietly from media pre-occupation.

I believe Dr Kelly was put under extreme pressure by his employer and took his own life to avoid the undoubted consequences which would result from his unfortunate decision to divulge information to the media.

Why would he kill himself, when he was very successsful? No, he was surely murdered and I wish a swift and similar fate to all involved.
