i have a house plant and i recently noticed that some bugs about the size of a grain of salt has appeared. what are they and how did they get there? they're white colored.

More than likely some sort of mite or other house plant pest. They are all pretty much treated the same. All you need is a 32oz spray bottle and mix 1 tablespoon of dish soap with 1/4 tea spoon of lite cooking oil like canola and fill with water and shake. Spray once a week making sure to get tops and bottoms of leaves until the nasty little buggies are no more.

Yes, like the other poster said, it is very common. All plants will get bugs of some sort form time to time.

Sounds like you have aphids. Insecticidal soap spray is what you need. Follow the directions on the spray bottle.

don worry bugs and magits come on plants like that all u have 2 do is get this spry if u spry it on the bugs they die!you find the spray in B&Q or asda.
that happend 2 the plants in our house!
