Besides the above dog episode, there was an episode where Phoebe snuck in a dog, and it had lived there for 3 days (at Monica') and Chandler was terrified of dogs.

Yes there was. Do you remember the scene when Joey was so in love with Rachel but they were friends so nothing could happen between them... Joey was in his and Chandler's apartment and he was depressed and Phoebe brought him a dog to cheer him up.. Then Joey told the dog the Rachel story and the dog became sad and Phoebe arrived and she blamed Joey for making the dog sad... she said that "the dog is the happiest dog in the world"...
there was also this dog owned by Phoebe's Dad that was hit by her cab when she went to meet her Dad for the first time... Phoebe chickened out and brought the dog to the vet,,, Phoebe brought back the dog the next day and she met her Dad's second wife and her brother, Frank Jr.

I don't remember a real dog. There was Marcel the monkey, the cat that Pheobe thought was her grandmother and the hairless cat Rachel bought. Then the duck and the chick.
The only dog I remember was the ceramic one Joey bought when he moved out from the apartment and when everything was being taken back, Ross bought him that to make him feel better.

yes there was a dog pheobe is the who brings it, chandler tells everyone is allergic to it but he actually hates little dogs so monica and everyone hide it from him but keep it in the apartment. it's called he one where chandler doesn't like dogs" and it's episode 8 of season 7

Phoebe's mom gave her a puppy when she was thinking of becoming a surrogate for her brother and his wife. The idea was Phoebe was only going to have the puppy for a few days then had to give it back to her mom. She would see how it felt to give something you loved away. Plus all the other animals others have mentioned.

Not a real dog but there was that big white ceramic one that Joey & Chandler had in their apartment.

Also, Rachel's dog "LaPoo" died, but they never showed it lol
