currencies and bellies don't trade on the stock markets ... they are commodities and trade on the commodity exchanges.

Ok, currency and pork bellies are not stocks. They are commodities. They trade on different markets.

Also, it's never a good idea to just listen to one person, or just read one book. There are tons of stock market books. Wander over to the bookstore or your library and pick up several of them. Spend some time becoming your own expert, it's your money.
