It depends on the book: factual names that have been used, or invented names?

Godsblessedvirtue Smythe actually existed - she died shortly after Christening (according to 17th century parish records).

A couple in NZ weren't allowed to name their son '4Real' (apparently the first thing the father said after the birth was - Oh. MY GOD! This is for real! ) , as the court decided that according to the law numerals weren't allowed in names, so they named him 'Superman' ..."but we'll always call him 4Real".

My grandmother was called Rowlandina, which she hated, and I have come across a Georgequa.

Leandra, Circe and Phoebe are perhaps kinder names to give to girls (although the 13-year-old Circe I know does think all men are pigs).

Riley and Morgan are names of old-style cars. But if you want something more unusual, google, Norse Dwarfs and Elves, they have some really unusual and beautiful names. That is where I took the inspiration for my characters names, in my books.
