The talk has bounced around since the inception of the BCS. Until the antiquated Bowl System in done away with, then a playoff will never be structured properly. Bowl games are a Model T in an era when players and fans want "December Dreams," not some non-descript game used more for recruiting purposes than anything else.

Nothing will never work for college football. there will always be controversy. Yeah the best team will win out BUT there will be controversy on the teams that are left out of the playoffs. Then the rose, fiesta, and all them bowl game traditions will be gone. So i would rather deal with the BCS
