If you could give a gift to the world, what would it be?

Imagine you're in a position to give anything you'd like to the world. What will you give?

a forever home for all the refugees out there ,
both Human and animal.

Hope. Because right now I think *everyone* could use some. People in all nations--developed or otherwise--are looking for something, some sort of hope for the future that isn't going to be *taken* from them by fanatics or rich men or violent hoodlums or warlords or famine or disease or dictators.....

I think people want a reason to go on living, one that does NOT involve throwing your lot in with people who are out to bring the world or its civilizations to an END. I think people want a fair chance to live their lives as *they* see fit, to be left alone to do that, and to live and let live.

I know it is what *I* would want for myself--a fair chance, a hope for a future that would see me happy, *without* having to be browbeaten and drugged into submission by some bureaucracy that really doesn't care, but can't be bothered to *bury me* either.

And I know that in a lot of this world's nations, life has become far too cheap, dying has become far too easy, suicide too much of a celebrated thing. What happened to wanting to live, to live long enough to have a family, to have children you could be *proud of*?

But I digress. Point is, we live in a world where ordinary people feel the walls closing in *way the hell* too often. And this is true no matter *where* you are....rich nation or poor, ordinary people are losing it. Hope, freedom, faith that life will change and get better.

So yeah. My gift to the world is the thing I'm lacking in myself lately. Hope. Hope for the future, hope for our children, hope for the human race, hope for human civilization, hope for the world we live on.

I would give everyone healing.......healing to all of those who are sick and suffering from a terrible disease, to all of those who are starving unable to find food to live on, and to all of those who are suffering from the violent acts of others......
