Yesterday after the shopping list meltdown he was pacing in the garden (again) and decided to give himself a little pep talk.

"You should know better than to get involved, good boy" WTF was THAT about?

Gerry gets blasted for talking to 'himself' i.e the cameras.
Is his nice but dim persona starting to wear a little thin...?

I think Brian is the biggest fake in the house, and why everybody wants him to win is beyond me! He has taped every bb since it started (since he was 11?) and knows just what the gullible voting public look for.Just look at who have won so far and who have gone on to maximum publicity? Do we really want the world to think the British people are a bunch of stupid.inarticulate, foul mouthed, sex obsessed bullies? I leave that thought with all of you when you pick your favourite!

It seems to me that Brian may have had some issues in the past and has been given some techniques for coping with his stress. He does this infront of the other hm's as well, even the talking bit although if someone else is there, he may talk to them instead of himself. The big difference between him and Gerry is Gerry talks to US through the cameras and not to himself !

No I don't think his nice persona is wearing thin. It is Brian's way of coping with the extreme stress and negativity which is in the House and it is perfectly normal behaviour. At least he doesn't talk to stuffed monkeys like Gerry does!!!!!

Think that Brian is a total fake and has the most obvious game plan of all of them. Sort of modelled on Jade Goody in her original appearance, lovable thicko. Also knows the benefit of the love interest, hence Amanda. After he failed to connect with Charlie. Just hope that people see through him in time.

Hmmm Im not too sure on this one. I think Brian was just being cute but as BB gets tougher with food if anyone IS playing a game this is the time their true personas will surface.

I don't see any comparison with Brian talking to himself.... and Gerry absolutely manipulating everyone in the house, (when he's not emotionally blackmailing them, that is) ...

do you just hate Brian..? or do you have a soft spot for Gerry ?

You seem to be on Brian's case a lot recently.. ;-)

Anger issues above me I think. :-)

I like Brian but totally understand what you are saying, Dr Bad asked a simiair Q about the "double standards".

But we're a fickle bunch, I keep saying it we have to have a villian and at the moment it's Gerry maybe if he leaves tonight we'll turn on Brian!

Mind you why he said good boy is beyond me lol

Right now I'm rooting for Ziggy!

No I believe he was genuinely doing that to keep his mood up.Whereas when Gerry does it I can see right through it he is literally talking to the camera.
