I am dieing to know, I saw the miniature of Sara under the red car but I didn't see the episode.

Yes, she was let go from the show and refused to appear in the final episode of Season 7 because they were killing off her character. That is why she didn't appear in the show and why you only see a hand sticking out from under the car.

Sara Sidle wasn't dead when the episode ended. She was still alive. Her hand was moving.
Don't listen to people who are saying that Jorja Fox was let go / was fired from the show. It's nonsense. Yes, her character was in mortal danger at the end of the last season - but that was a cliffhanger for crying out loud! They do cliffhangers all the time in TV shows. It doesn't mean that the actor was fired / let go. It simply makes sure that we'll turn in the next season because we're - pun intended - dying to know how the episode continues.
So: No, we don't know yet what will happen to Sara. She might die, she might live. I'm personally very much hoping for the latter.
And ignore people who claim to know for sure: at this point everything's speculation. We'll all know for sure in September when the first new episode airs.

No, it hasn't been confirmed yet. I hear many rumors flying around that Sara dies, but I'm not really sure. I'll have to trust what I see instead. In the last episode of season 7, Sara gets abducted by Natalie, the MK, and gets put under a car. That's how it ended. Oh, and Gil finally revealed to the team that he loves her. We'll know the true answers when the new season begins.

I didn't see the finale either, but I know that Jorja Fox who plays Sara is in very tense contract negotiations to renew her contract. I think the writers were leaving open the possibilty that she doesn't survive just in case the Jorja's contract doesn't get renewed. CSI has a history of paying their supporting actors a lot less money. A couple of seasons ago Jorja and George Eads refused to come back to work after the summer hiatus until their pay was increased. the producers and CNS threatened to fire them if they didn't show up for work, so they did. George Eads had his contract renegotiaited but Jorja hasn't been as lucky. I personally don't blame her. You're on a hit show where basically everyone gets paid more than you? That's gotta suck, and is really unfair.

I just found out the name of the song they were playiing for the preview commericial here's the name and lyrics (it seems to say alot within the whole Sara/Grissom relationship) The song is by Kate Bush name "This Woman's Work" Pray God you can cope. That is the cliffhanger! The miniature is mechanized and her arm is moving a little but they have to get to her on time!!! Great ending.
