I was talking about birth control with this guy Im dating and he told me that we were all set until February because of this suposid injection. I have never heard of such a thing. He told me that he recieved this injection when he was inquiring about getting a vasectomy. Please tell me, there is such a thing, and not just another jerk trying to get some quick ***

There are TRIAL male B/C shots. But nothing on the market yet.

I think he is just trying to get it on...

I suggest you google it, I have never heard of such a thing... but then again there are many weird things in this world.
And even if it does reduce sperm count it does not fully stop sperm from getting into the vagina causing you to get pregnant.
All it takes is one little teeny sperm to get you pregnant so even if its true he should wear a condom.

no. i looked into it. the bottom line is they likely could make an injection for me, but market studies show that there isnt enough market for it. at this point drug companies have dropped this. before i counted on what he was saying, i could contact a doctor and ask, but unless something has happened that i am unaware of this isnt out there. they had one promising one that was in trials in australia, but it never went to market.

the closest I heard of something like that was the PILL that was to reduce sperm count. I don't think it got FDA approved.
