I most certainly do, it was 'Alchemy' by Dire Straits, the double live album. It's not the best CD I ever bought, but it was the first. The second CD I ever bought is certainly amongst the best though: 'Dark side of the moon' by Pink Floyd, one of the all-time best ever albums, in my humble opinion.
You don't mention yours though...maybe you could tack it on now, as an after thought...

I remember the first component CD player I ever saw, at the old Pacific Stereo on San Antonio Rd. in Los Altos. It was $800. That was in 1983, I know because I met my Sweetie that year and we've been together since then.
I bought about 2 years later for $250. Then I went by the record store and got my first CD, Switched On Bach by Walter Carlos.

My first CD was Strange Brew- The Best of Cream and my second was Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon as well. Dark Side of the Moon is the only album I've owned on every format, ie. vinyl, 8-track, cassette, CD, and digital audio. It is a true classic and never leaves my home stereo's CD changer, my PSP, or my MP3 player.

I honestly didn't start buying cds until a few years ago when my husband started making fun of me for having tapes!!! Anyway, I think my first CD was Destiny's Childs 1st album.

lol oh yeah it was a take that single way back in 1995 i think but only bought it becose i couldnt get hold of a copy on cassette tape never really liked cd's to easy scrached

i cant remember the 1st CD i bought but the first cassette tape i bought was Dustin the turkeys' christmas no.1 or sumting! it cost 10 irish punts!
