Well maybe she feels bad because he was attacked and Sean is supposed (although I don't believe) to have done it,so if she has a go at him then it's going to look bad and like Sean has something to hide.

well yeh put it this way she found her boyfriends bloodied shirt from which he attacked patrick and he is her boyfriend after all she will get it from everyone for as long she is with him.
