Uh..NO
Wow, look who's talking about being in love with themself???
Gees...did you bother to actually read that statement before you posted it? That's really egocentric of you to presume such about people you know nothing about! How rude.
A lot of Straight couples look like one another, dress alike, talk alike, what's your point?
(There are actually entire websites devoted to selling his/her identicaly clothing for Heterosexual Couples!!!!)
My partner and I do NOT look alike, we do not dress alike, we don't talk alike. I'm an artist, she's in finance. I make a lot of my own clothes, dresses, skirts, tops...etc...she buys everything off the rack...business suits...etc.
I speak in a fairly more direct maner, while she uses some not so common words that even have some of her coworkers baffled at times. (Personally I find that funny since I know exactly what she's saying I just choose not to put those words in my vocabulary)
She has long straight hair, I have medium length but extremely curly hair. She has baby blue eyes, I have dull grey eyes.
She likes cats...I want a dog.
She's somewhat of an introvert and I'm much more extroverted.
The only things about us that are similar are our senses of humor, our love of theatre, out interest in books and music. She's not into art galleries but would rather spend the day at a natural history museum.
I like American Folk music all the time, she has a limited interest in it.
We both love reenacting, but she likes the American Civil War and I prefer Elizabethan Renaissance.
But we love each other BECAUSE of our differnences.

I rather doubt it. And actually, there is research to suggest that all couples gradually look more and more like each other as time passes -- its probably just easier for gay couples. Additionally research suggests that all people seek people similar to themselves. It isn't a gay thing, its a human thing.
Kind thoughts,
Reyn

No, sorry, I don't find this valid.
Anyone looking for a relationship is looking for someone to complete them, not be exactly the same as them. Talk about a boring situation!
When one is looking to attract someone in the LGBT world, it is often successful to appear similar to the person you would like to attract. This is probably what you are seeing. Bears tend to go for bears, etc. However, there are loads and loads of exceptions.
[Hmm, checking . . . no attacks there. Some of us are polite and have manners. :o) ]

Ha! A lot of straight couples actually admit that they actively seek people who look like them...
Oh, and Ann Coulter said the same thing. So, you and Ann Coulter think pretty much alike. That's saying something.

your theory is wrong. sorry.
and it is only a theory. you have no evidence to back anything up. none of your straights do. you only ASSume. the LGBT are the only people that know the answers, but you egotistical *** holes think you are always right. get over yourselves. you started all the horrible problems in the world, but you are always right.
try to evolve. that will make the world a better place.

No, I doubt that theory. I would say any person (straight, gay, etc.) wants to have some characteristics of a partner similar to him or her, but also different.

Not at all.
I know multiple gay couples who conform to the theory of "opposites attract". I haven't met very many at all who look alike or act alike.

Ha, you "theory" is an attack. You theory is about as much as a theory, as intelligent design. Completely not a theory at all, just bs.

Nope. That theory is nonsense! They are gay because they are attracted to the opposite sex. That's all.

Interesting theory, I can't say that I agree with you, but it's clear that you've given it some thought, so thank you for sharing.
