It was a little tough to tell from the grammer, but I don't think that was meant as an insult. Hentai in Japanese translates to pervert in English. For example if you are watching a show in Japanese, and a guy accidentally walks in on a girl while she is changing or something, she might yell, "Hentai!" at him. It means both pervert, and refers to anime porn.

Hey me too! I am obsessed with anime and manga (and video games)!!! But the good thing is I have some friends who are into it as much as I am. Although a lot of people in my class are like 'omg why are you so obsessed with japanese stuff', because they just don't understand how awesome it is!! I don't care if the typical stereo type of a 14 year old girl is being obsessed with your appearence, hanging out with your boyfriend, going shopping all the time and being really girly!! I love to stay at home and watch Naruto, read Death Note and play The Legend of Zelda!!!
