Less of the micro state if you don't mind!!!! I think that after three hundred years, it is about time that England learned to stand on its own two feet without leaning on Scotland all the time.

Hardly a micro state as the population is 5 million (same as Denmark, Slovakia and Finland) and they own quite a lot of North Sea and Irish Sea oil.

Malta is the smallest EU state (550k) and Vatican City in all of Europe (770) unless you include Sealand of course.

Oh yes and Scotland is part of the United Kingdom (which is the Union of England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland in that order)

Scotland is way too big to be a micro state: it is more than twice as big as Holland, and has some 5 million inhabitants: that's about as much as Slovakia and more than the republic of Ireland.

what do folk think power is, real power is having control of ones own destiny, if scotland achieves that, she has more power than england wales and ireland put together, because she can do what she wants, the rest of us are dominated by the most corrupt organisation in the world, the e.u. the e.u. has bought and paid for all our politicians and most businessmen to be their lap dogs, if scotland leaves europe as well as colonised england, she will be nobodys lap dog.

The Nationalists offer a choice of whether or not to be in the UK in Europe or to be like say Ireland,Belgium,or any other small state deal with them directly, all the other parties make it seem that it's a foregone conclusion any referendum will be in their favour, what have they got to fear in having one then?
