I think its crazy that the players can't celbrate and are called for taunting for every little exclamation. Soon, players are going to be fined for high 5's and fist pumps too or maybe even the "Lambou Leap". The endzone celebrations make the game fun and shows the viewers that the players are having a little fun too. Some people have gone too far in bringing in props like Joe Horn and his cell phone but I like the celebrations for the most part.
As far as the best celebration goes I think that we need to go back to the days of Jamaal Anderson and the Falcons and their patented "Dirty Bird"....it was so memerable to me that I can still do it today, and they did it when i was a little kid.

NO, not until guys like Chad Johnson and T.O. and a few others are out of league. I'm sure some aren't going to like that comment but I have a good reason. These guys were getting out of hand about it. I'm all for having a good celebration and even using props to a degree. When you getting as worried as they were though you are getting out of hand. Besides after seeing things as stupid as the "pylon putt" from Chad Johnson it is clear they were running out of ideas. Last I checked though T.O. used the ball as a "pillow" and all that the NFL will do if you use a prop is fine you. The players can afford the fine so whatever, let them pay it.
Hey LSU it is almost as dumb as the RB who runs 10 yards on a 3rd and 15 and celebrates like he really did something or the man who celebrates a TD in the 4th when his team is now losing 42-7(well 6 since it is after the TD). I think the sack dances were getting dumb as well. Worst of worst though was the Giants "jump shot", glad the D was united but what does a jump shot have to do with FOOTBALL?

The game of football is supposed to build charachter, not create charachters. Call me old-fashioned, but I long for the days when someone just went into the endzone and got the job done, and didn't act like they just won the lottery. Celebrating touchdowns is ridiculous by itself, but it soon became celebrating everything down to getting a first down or making a tackle. Perhaps the only players who haven't joined in on this debasement of football are the offensive linesmen, who still realize that football is, and always will be a team effort, but it's only a matter of time until the needless, unsportsmanlike showboating spreads to them, too. The NFL's measures to clamp down on silly celebrations is too litte, too late. After scoring a touchdown, a player should act like they've been there, done that, and just be very business-like, handing the ball to the referee and nothing else. Gone are the days of the humble football players who realized it was team effort. No longer do the runningbacks and wide recievers appreciate the offensive line.

Maybe I'm a bit more old school then the other answerers, but i was always taught that when you got to the end zone you should behave like you've actually been there before. I think it's funny that a defense can shut a guy down all day, and all they do is line up for the next play, but when the offensive player wins that one battle, they act like they've done something that nobody else in the history of the game has done. My thought is, toss the ball to the closest official, spike it if you want, then get your butt to the sideline.

I don't care for the props, but a person should be allowed to celebrate. I loved all the crazy touchdown dances of the past. It shows a winning spirit.

They should absolutely NOT bring them back or encourage them in any way. These are supposedly professional athletes, they need to act the part or go play in some attention deprived, adolescence acting neighborhood league in southern Texas. I do not pay good money for a ticket or for cable to watch these guys horribly bad acting and antics.

Joe Horn and his phone was my favorite. I like TD celebrations, I don't like when defensive players celebrate a tackle on an opponent that has picked up a first down. That is just retarded.
