IT SOUNDS LIKE THE DRAIN TUBE FOR THE A/C IS CLOGGED UP.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE DRAIN FROM OUTSIDE BECAUSE JEEP PUT THE DRAIN IN THE FRAME ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE.
YOU CAN DO ONE OF TWO THINGS, FIRST DRILL A HOLE UNDER THE EVAP NEXT TO THE REC AIR DOOR JUST WHERE THE DRAIN IS LOCATED AND TRY AND DRAIN IT. WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT A SMALL PLUG INTO THE HOLE THAT YOU DRILLED.
SECOND YOU CAN MARK OFF WHERE THE DRAIN IS AND LOCATE IT ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE DOOR AND TRACE IT TO THE FRAME SECTION AND DRILL A HOLE ABOUT ONE INCH IN THE FRAME. THIS WAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CLEAN OUT THE DRAIN TUBE COMPLETELY.
ALSO IF YOU DECIDE THAT BOTH ARE TO MUCH FOR YOU THEN THE ONLY THING LEFT IS TO REMOVE THE COMPLETE EVAP ASSEMBLY, CLEAN EVERYTHING OUT AND REINSTALL IT. THIS WAY WILL BE VERY EXPENSIVE.
THE FRAME IS THE BEST AND I HAVE DONE HUNDREDS OF THEM THIS WAY AND IT DOES WORK.

This is a judgment call on your part. If you have been driving it like that for some time, then you may be okay.
However, it is never a good idea to drive long distance with a car that has an obvious cooling system problem. The coolant may leak out and you could ruin the engine.
Ride along with a friend or borrow someone else's car. Get your heater core repaired.

I agree with Galaxie500XL. You need to look at the water. Is it clear or does it have anti-freeze in it. If it's clear then it probably is just A/C condensation and your drain is just plugged. If you can have someone point the drain tube out to you, you might be able to CAREFULLY clean it out with a wire coat hanger. If it's green or some other color it could be your heater core. If it is the heater core then you need help from a mechanic. Otherwise it can wait or you can try to clean it out with a hanger. But then again I'm mostly writing to agree with Galaxie500XL. Since they said the same thing first.

It depends. If it's clear water, it's likely condensate from your air conditioner evaporator....the drain that normally lets this water outside is plugged. This is messy, but not serious.
If the water is the color of your coolant, green or orange, then it is a heater core leak. This could completely fail at any time, and it wouldn't be a good idea to make a long trip.
I'm betting it's from the A/C...not a problem for today, but something you need to fix.

The water dripping is from a clogged air conditioner drain. There are several sites on the web describing how to deal with the problem, ranging from easy to difficult depending on your year model.
The water is just condensation, so the only danger is from mold buildup on your carpet. I would suggest using a vacuum from a car wash if it leaks too much.

It's probably water condensate dripping from a plugged up air conditioner evaporator in your dash duct work. So it won't hurt to drive the car. You'd smell anti freeze if the heater core was leaking. Have your A/C condensate drain tube cleaned out so the water won't back up.

Do you have a friend that's got a screw driver? lift the hood and on the firewall on passengers side, there will be two hoses going into the passenger compartment. (where it is leaking) this is the heater core. to bypass it loosen the hose clamps, pull the hoses off the heater core, find a piece of 1/2 inch pvc or pipe and stick one hose on each side and clamp it, the pipe only needs to be about 3" long. This will not only get you to the beach, stop the leak, but get you by until you can get it fixed.

If it smells like anti-freeze, it's the heater core and needs to be fixed right away. If it's distilled water, it's just a clogged air conditioner drain line and the only problem will be a wet floor.

Sounds like it might be an issue with your air conditioner. What's happening probably won't affect the mechanical operation of your jeep, but it might be a warm drive if your AC goes out.

Your heater core is about to rupture. This will dump all the engine coolant into the passenger compartment and ruin your carpets etc. I had this happen once and it dumped on my cars computer and that died and had to be replaced.
