Oh no. I am a new quilter and I thought that a template marking pencil was to mark where you were going to quilt. It is black. I just finished a quilt and washed it. The pencil did not come out!!!!! Is there any suggestions on getting it out?????

Yes, I think it is the pencil that is supposed to mark on the plastic for templates.

I thought it meant to make a template on the quilt. Oops.

Uh oh. How bad does it look? Can you pretend you were making "cheater" fabric, where you would draw the stitches on like a cartoon?

I hate to say it, but you probably ruined your beautiful quilt top. Your only hope may be to rip out your seams and remove the pieces that you marked and replace the them. If you know who the manufacturer is, check with them and see if they can help.
