Adolph Hitler once said that the bigger the lie, the more people will believe it. People who can't - or don't want to - think for themselves are easy targets for hypocrites like Limbaugh. They seldom bother to check out facts, or even listen intently to what's being said. Just as Hitler persuaded millions of otherwise-intelligent, unbiased, objective Germans to believe it was 'acceptable' to gas six million Jews, Limbaugh has persuaded his 'dittoheads' that it's 'acceptable' to insult, injure (and, someday, maybe even kill) liberals or any others who don't agree with his conservative political Pabulum. Limbaugh is the 21st century's answer to Adolph Hitler: all puffery and little substance. But, gullible people listen.....be afraid, be very afraid. -RKO- 08/17/07

Jacob W: I have compassion for anyone who is addicted to anything. But there is no doubt that Limbaugh lacks compassion for anyone who disagrees with him. He spouts his mouth off just to be heard and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process. As for your comment about liberals--my radar goes up as soon as someone makes a general comment like that about a group of people. You listen to Rush because you ARE Rush.

You are wrong. You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. Rush Limbaugh does not lie. He may have a different opinion than you do but that certainly does not make him a liar.

The man was prescribed potent pain killers for a spinal condition. He became addicted to them and when the prescription proved inadequate he bought them on the black market. He was not partying with them. These were not recreational drugs. You talk about hypocrisy yet whenever some liberal celebrity checks into rehab for booze or recreational drugs all we hear about is how courageous they were to beat their additions (if they even do). Why is there no equal measure of compassion for this man?
