He's an Andretti.....He will definitely win several races...Remember, he very nearly won the biggest of them all, the Indy 500, as a 18-year old ROOKIE.
He's got the best equipment, he's surrounded by some of the best talent in the business, (especially his Dad Michael and GrandDad Mario) and it's clear from fact he's already won a race and been so *very* close in many others, he's already overcome the pressure that comes with having a last name like his.
Over the next 20 years, we'll see what could probably be the greatest Andretti of them all...I'm willing to bet on that. The kid's got more talent at his age than Mario or Michael did.

Marco has a good shot, but he needs to get a few more laps under his belt, to say the least. His latest moves on the track have been impatient and impulsive, and they have almost cost him his life. It's hard education like that that can make really great racecar drivers or it can turn them completely off to the sport all together. Poor Marco also has a legacy behind him that is probably pushing him faster than he really should be going because the fans expect so much out of him since he's an Andretti. I wish him the best though. Happy racing!

marco has a great shot at taking an IRL championship...if u look at his rookie year he almost took the 500 and won a race becoming the youngest driver to do so...although in interviews Marco has expressed an interest in moving to formula 1 if the chance comes up

I'm sure he will. The team that he is on is pretty strong and he is about third or forth in the rating of with in that team. (My feeling) You have to remember he is really young too. He has lots of years to win races and learning how to walk before you run is pretty important.
I feel he started of running and he was real mouthy and flipping other drivers off because they didn't get out of his way and basically he was a prick like his Grandfather Mario when he was behind the wheel. The race after the race where he went upside down was the race that I noticed that he had changed and a lot of the ********* had left him. He seems more patience now.
He will be close to a race star like the older Andretti's were from that side of the family.

I think he'll win a Champ Car championship before the IRL championship.

An IRL championship is worthless, just like a CART championship. Could he win, maybe but it won't mean anything as long as there are 2 series. I could name 5 drivers in each series that are better drivers right now.

He's got the equipment and is capable, but whether he can do it or not is left to be seen. I'm glad he's not getting a DNF for flipping or parking his car on every oval track.

no i think if the offer is still there he will jump to f1 before he wins a championship, and if not mario may be working a deal with newman/haas when sebastion leaves after this year, if i were him and f1 was my goal (wich it would be) id get my butt in a newman haas drive soon as i could

Marco has a better shot than Danica. Danica spends her time complaining and never taking the blame.
