I'd just like to know what people truly think. If it were ten pounds heavier would you think differently? How about ten pounds lighter? Give me your opinions. I'd love to have 'em!

Yes. Unless the individual is unusually muscular, 135 pounds is too heavy for a five-foot tall person (male or female). At 5'0", the BMI is 26.4 (overweight = 25.0-29.9)

The answer would be the same if your question replaced "135" with "145". If, however, you replaced "135'" with "125" your BMI would be at the high end of normal (BMI = 24.4 with normal range being 18.5 - 24.9).

I am your height also and I weigh any where from 124-135. (right now I weigh 127)
My weight changes a bit but never more or less.
I have never looked fat though I know I have meat on these bones. I have curves, a nice butt and yes, maybe a little extra but it's okay. Take care of youself and work with what you have. You will be fine and guys love short women. Keep up the body that you have and you won't go without an admirer.

I gained 25 pounds within the last 2 yrs, so I now weigh 128 and I'm 5'2 and I love my body! It was a big change from 104 but I am by no means fat and if I tell people how much i weigh, they don't believe me - they think i'm skinnier. I never really cared about what body type I had before, now I would never want to lose the weight I gained because I love my body now. I mean it all depends on where your weight goes and your body shape and how old you are and if you have more muscle

Yes that is heavy for someone 5 ft. tall. I am just over 5' and try to keep my weight around 115 - 120 and 125 is the highest weight I've ever gotten with the exception of my pregnancies. I admit I am a little obsessive about it but my doctor supports my choice of trying to stay at that weight & warns against too much weight gain especially after age 50.

It's up to you. If you are happy with yourself than that is all that matters. If you want to lose some weight and look a bit skinnier, I am starting a website for that kind of thing, with diet plans, nutrition facts guide, message boards, BMI calculator, etc. Let me know if you are interested.
