So many have offered their opinion without explaining why. There are many reasons why each is the best for consuming beer. If you are into English or Irish imports, such as Boddington, Murphy's, Guiness, Beamish, Abbott, etc. The draught can is great! (though Guiness offers a draught bottle as well as a can) The widespread use of the draught widget in these cans causes these beers to pour like they were from the tap by using the nitrogen contained in the widget, thus giving the beer a pub-like pour, AND a pub-like taste. These come in pint cans and I keep several stocked in my bar. However, I find that Belgian, German, and Scotch ales taste much better when poured from a bottle. The overall flavor is better preserved for these types of beers in a bottle. I will say that I'm not a big fan of domestics, but confess that the best way to enjoy a Budwesier on a hot summer day is via their aluminum bottle. In my opinion, this is one of the saving graces of the domestic brew. So, different beers for different containers. I hope I've been a help, and if I can be of further assistance, drop me a line.

first of all COLD
some beers usually foreign like Grolsch and Corona in a bottle
but more doestics are better in a can like Bud light or Miller light
