I'd say for the most part, no, but maybe in certain areas I did compared to how kids are these days:

*I wasn't bought all the fun accessories for Barbie so I came up w/ my own (bookshelf for the house, rollerskate for the car, etc)
*there were always certain movies I was never allowed to see & some I still havent seen
*my parents refused to buy or let us play video games...and I still have never owned or played to this day
*I was never allowed a TV in my room & didn't get one til I bought it myself 2 years ago (I'm 24)
*I had an early curfew til I was 21
*I was forced to go to [catholic] church til I was 20....ugh....

Hardly! I wouldn't mind living a sheltered life for a while now though. :-P

Yes. Very. Other kids hated my life because I had it better than them. Too bad I was too immature to realize how good I had it.

Yes my parents were very strict.... I turned into a very shy kid
and found it hard to make friends, and even now I find it hard to start a conversation with some one...
