I am bi and i believe that all people are inherently bisexual. its not a phase or a 2nd closet. I f u really think about it from the knsey scale anyone thats a 1(completely straight) or a 6(completely gay ) are the only straight and gay people on this earth ( which are very few). Basically im saying that there are few straight and gay people and nearly all the human race is bisexual to varying degrees meaning from 2(all most full hetero ) on the kinsey scale to 5 (mostly homo.) and 3 ( Equally bisexual). Most people who identify as straight would mostly be a 2 and bisexuals(self indentified) would range from 2 - 4 and self identified gays would be 5 or 4. Im saying that these overlap because becuase this is what i believe is the range of society's classification of sexuality. i hope i spoke clearly enough and plz comment about this.

I think most gay people say that everyone is inherently gay/bi to better justify their choice. You feel less like your doing something wrong if you believe everyone does it.
They don't.

There is some validity to what you say. Some of us would turn the corner in a second, if we were without a boyfriend, and the right girl came along. I know that even after I stopped having sex with girls, I still find them attractive. The guy I am seeing now had sex with a girl just before he met me. But we both consider ourselves gay. So where would we be on that scale. 4 or 5?
Personally I want to meet someone who is asexual. I want to know what that is all about.

Eh, it is a very touchy issue. I know that I would be a 6. If I were to put myself on the kinsey scale. Clearly there are many bisexual people, but I don't believe "all people are inherently bisexual".

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I have never once in my entire life been attracted to the same sex in any way shape or form and I don't believe that even half the world or even a quarter of the world have ever been. Of course, I don't believe people are born gay or bi, I believe it's a choice they make. And why would you think that very few people are completely straight? Geesh! Whoever came up with this scale needs there head examined and should do something more important with their time.

I think the bisexual angle often depends on the circumstances, the right person at the right time. Let's agree that we all have at least a propensity for engaging in a homosexual liaison. On the other hand, at least speaking for myself, I don't think it necessarily works the other way, that is, I'm not sure we all have the capacity to engage in heterosexual sex. It seems like, overall, the propensity for homosexuality is stronger than the propensity for heterosexuality.
Have no idea what your age might be. Young adult probably. Me? I'm over the hill and then some.

Interesting question. I'm straight, and have no interest in fooling around with another girl, but in my younger and wilder days I have made out with a girl. This does not make me gay, but I guess I wouldn't be totally a #1, either. I think most people who claim to be totally straight ( or totally gay) are actually too afraid, for one reason or another, to admit any mixed feelings. Like a gay man who admits that he's attracted to a woman is all of a sudden "confused", and a straight man attracted to a guy is now gay. I think it depends on how you were raised and your current environment

I diagree. I don't feel that I have ever been inherently bisexual. I like men, and I have always liked men. I have never had a physical attraction to a woman.
