How do you detect hotlinking?

Is there anyway I can detect who hotlink "photos, files, imges" off my website?

Yes. Check your logs.

If you have awstats installed go to the "Links from an external page" and go to the bottom where the "pages" column are blank. That means they have something/link in your site but not the main page. Probably an image.

Only by working out how much bandwidth YOU are using and whats excess to that! Best thing to do is disable the use of hotlinking.
