Hi Sylvia . Enjoy the music and belated birthday wishes... I am rather late in answering as it is now Sunday and there is no post... Yesterday I got my Tesco points vouchers relating to my purchases over the last 3 months...not a lot. Also my pension pay advice, and a plea from Argos to go and spend some money with them How exciting can it all get?

I haven't received the mail yet today, but yesterday I received a letter from my Godson. I haven't heard from him in several months so that was very special to me.
I also received a medical report for the test I took on the 9th. I have better bones than most people my age! Too bad that wasn't the answer I was looking for. Now I need to find another doctor who knows what he is doing.
Milk that birthday, Sylvia! Mine usually last a week if I have anything to do with it. Have a great day.

I had a letter from my bank today announcing they are introducing a Gambling Transaction Charge. If I were to buy lottery tickets or take part in any form of gambling such as betting, gaming or wagering using my credit card, the interest charged will be 23.9%. This rate will also be charged for cash advances and credit card cheques. Thank goodness I don't use a credit card for the above activities, nor do I seek cash advances or use credit card cheques. I might add that this bank will, soon, no longer be the bank I deal with.
Glad you got something nice in the post today - enjoy! Happy belated birthday.

good for you. Happy Birthday a little late. Confess I am anxiously awaiting the DVD set of " Droopy " the cartoon character Mr. Tex Avery made so popular. Droopy was my hero long before Snoopy was ever thought of -- and I am like a kid because I can hardly wait.

The postman woke me up this morning as I was trying to sleep(am on night duty in A&E). It was a parcel from my lovely partner who is at sea for a while and berthed in Belgium at the moment. Guess what? Hand made Belgian chocolates. Fab!! There goes the diet again.

No post today, not even a bill, relieved sigh! nor the usual junk mail, so I've been deprived of my daily challenge to get it into the waste paper basket - the aim has got quite good over the years, left or right handed. Whoops, rambling a bit - enjoy your C&W!

Wow, that actually sounds like a really fun CD collection. I didn't get my mail yet, but there was a sweet love note from my boyfriend waiting for me in the bathroom when I got up this morning. I just love little surprises like that. : )

I'm afraid I did not have any nice mail today, what I did have took almost all day to sort out, and caused me a me a lot of hassle.
