No folks ! Aforist Eric Hoffer wrote: "ADD A FEW DROPS OF MALICE TO A HALF TRUTH AND YOU HAVE AN ABSOLUTE TRUTH". Truth as vodka. In 1983, he was awarded the Medal of Freedom by Ronald Reagan.

A half-truth IS the truth, just a limited telling.

For example: A kid comes in at 6 when he should have been home at 330. The kid had left school, gone to the mall, went to an ice cream place, went bowling, then went to a friend's house before going home. Parent asks where they have been. Kid replies, 'a friend's house.' This is a half-truth, he did indeed go to a friend's hous, he just neglects to mention the other things he did. This is still true though.

Tell the truth but nothing but the truth. The other half-truth will then be filled by the other half-truth. Therefore, you baked the whole truth.
