I want to go there this Winter for study abroad. Currently deciding between London and a few other cities. Is it worth the money, because I heard its one of the most expensive cities in the world.

London is worth every penny, especially if you get to live in the West End. I studied there for a semester and stayed at the International Students House. It is in a fantastic location. If you like the arts, you won't be disappointed. If you like shopping, you won't be disappointed. If you like history, you won't be disappointed. I thought it was a lot like NYC only older. The biggest down point I can think of is the homeless population. Be prepared to turn down beggars. There are some that are merely scammers. I saw one lady trying to pass off a shoe box as a baby to try to con people out of change.
