someone just posted this question......
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhhTJGQaQSxKewvK9FghwE3S7BR.?qid=20070817060801AAMVPun
This is what my answer was:
"It'll be close between Giuliani and Mitt Romney as far as the republican candidate goes, I couldn't imagine a democrat being president. I don't think the United States is ready for a woman president yet, so I think Obama has a decent shot as being nominated for the democrat to run for presidential election, but he won't win because he is black (despite what everyone thinks, racism will always exist in the United States unfortunately) For some reason, I have a feeling Giuliani will win the election (mark my words....I'm going to come back to this answer after the election just to say I told you so). He holds some democratic ideals, (ex. support for gay marriage) yet remains a republican. I believe this will get him votes from fence-sitters such as independents, the conservative republicans voting for Romney. This wide range of votes will help him win the election.
There are concerns with Giuliani as far as his personal life goes, but his personal life never really hindered what he did in New York. He is perhaps weak emotionally, but it doesn't seem to stop him from getting the job done right. The United States seem to have its divorce rate rising lately, some marriages are doomed from the beginning because people don't get to know each other long enough before they get married and when they discover these problems, they never want to work through them. Divorce is becoming almost an everyday thing, because of this I think people are willing to ignore the fact Giuliani was married three times.
I know some of you are probably asking "How is it possible for Giuliani to win when he supports Bush's decision in Iraq?" Giuliani has a different strategy for Iraq that I think will work and people can relate too. I know someone will contest what I am saying, but politics will always be a very touchy subject. Am I saying I'm voting for Giuliani? No, I'm not, I'm simply stating why I think he will have a good chance at winning."

I am not sure if it's sad to say but Hillary Clinton will win, she has the money, the ex president and all the resources to lock in enough electoral votes to win. She carries a solid 1-2 point lead over Guiliani right now, but with a 3 way race with undependent Bloomberg running, he takes away alot of votes from Mayor Giuliani, giving the election to Hillary. Here's the link

The person who receives the most electoral votes. (Unless its a Republican, in which case the Supreme Court will appoint them to office after they lose the election).
