Birth control can ease PMS and cramps. I used to get the worst pains to the point that I couldn't walk. Now on birth control, I have none. Also Advil or Tylenol work. Cut salt, caffeine, and nicotine if you smoke. Exercise also helps.

Hot bath sounds like a plan, try also a hot water bottle in a towel applied to your tummy and to your back. Peppermint tea also helps, sugar optional. Try also iboprufen tablets, but always with food and no more than the recommended dosage (don't if you're allergic).

I used to get killer cramps, so bad that I couldn't work for 3 days, so I have an idea of how you feel. I started taking Evening Primrose Oil capsules - didn't think they'd help but reckoned they wouldn't harm either - and they helped a bit: I feel bad for just one and a half days, and a lot less homocidal.

The bath is a great idea. Also try a heating pad. Or curling up in a ball on the floor, I've done that. Or... lay down on the floor (couch, whatever) and do some crunches or just slowly squeeze in your stomach muscles, breathing deeply. Exercising the muscles will help. Good luck!

Take a bath
heat a bottle of water
take a painkiller such as mydol
go to bed
turn tv on
put the bottle of water on your stomach lay down and relax,
it helps me :) try to sleep, try to use some oils as perfume like lavender to help you relax.

Good luck! ;D

Try pain relievers such as Midol, Pamprin, Ibuprofen, etc.
A heating bad on your abdomen may help as well.

As with all engines, keep it well oiled and never let it get too cold. Top up with fluid now and again!
