My washing machine doesn't seem to be getting enough water. Water just trickles into the powder despencer so i have to top it up with 3 or 4 jugs of hot water. Could it be anything to do with the water pressure? All taps are running ok. Its not blocked as it has been checked. Thanks!

PS. have a newborn baby in house so really need clean clothes all the time!!

See if you can check the filter. Sometimes ther's a cap underneath the bottom plate that looks a bit like the petrol cap on a car. You will need to pull the bottom plate off to find the cap. I think ours just clips on. Get a bowl or something to catch the water, then unscrew the cap and withdraw the filter. We had a problem with ours and it turned out to be a sock stuck around the filter. By the way the water will smell a bit yucky when it comes out.

Before you do anything please refer to this link:

Make sure the machine is unplugged before you do anything!!

Good luck and I hope this works....

Hi,
Have you checked at the back of your machine where you have the blue and red connectors that connect your washer to the water supply? May be the connector to the blue(cold) or the red (hot) supply is not fully open.

Could be the reason.

It sound like it's blocked. Who checked for blockages??? Is it hot and cold fill or cold only? Mains or cistern fed?? Disconnect the hose from the supply pipe and test the flow. Then remove the connector(s) from the machine and pull out the filters, wash any grit or dirt out and re-assemble. Check flow at dispenser again??

check the red and blue opening valves levers as mine has to be turned down slightly due to high water presure. it could be them turn then off first whilst the washer is trying to fill then turn slowly till they are open all the way.

THERE SHOULD BE A TINY SCREEN ON THE HOT AND COLD CONNECTIONS...TAKE THE WATER SUPPLY LINES OFF AND CHECK THE FLOW.......
