Absolutely real. The prism reflectors that the astronauts left on the moon are used to this day to measure the distance to the moon, which is increasing at about an inch a year because of tidal friction.

FOX had a dumb show on TV that said the 7/20/69 Moon landing was faked, but several other shows on Discovery, etc. refute this nonsense. Youtube is hardly a reliable source for anything, it seems. I have seen several people on here say it has ridiculous stuff. I advise you to do as I do by looking at both sides of any issue and then thinking much about them. If you listen only to such nonsense as the FOX lies, you will have many wrong ideas. The media lies often. That should be illegal.

YouTube isn't scientific evidence. That video is absurd - it presents fiction that's made to look like fact. The interviewee relied upon his own twisted common sense, not actual scientific evidence, in his accusations. I saw nothing other than lens flare in those images. It's an incontrovertible scientific fact - not a subjective opinion - that we went to the Moon.

That video also doesn't explain the irrefutable independent evidence that proves that we went to the Moon (the retroreflectors, the radio transmissions, the Moon rocks, etc.).All that the conspiracy theorists can produce is bad science and faulty common sense, both of which permeate that video. To reject the Moon landings is to reject all modern science.

The Internet is filled with a lot of lies and bad information, and just because something is posted on the Internet doesn't mean that it's scientifically valid. I also note that many of the conspiracy theorists blindly flock to any potential conspiracy; one of the answers above even claims that 9/11 was a government conspiracy!

It's actually pathetic that people like that will spit upon the courage of the Apollo astronauts based upon a severe lack of basic scientific knowledge.

When he was asked if the moon landing was fake buzz aldrin punched the person who posed the question.
In my opinion if you put your life on the line to go to the moon that would be a perfectly reasonable response if someone put it to you that you did not go at all.
