Frequent calls to Jamaica?

does any one have a solution for a person who makes frequent calls to Jamaica, cellphone too expensive, house phone the same, skype is ridiculous (can only make 10 dollars worth of calls to Jamaica) havent tried vonage but thinkin it would prolly be the same as the house phone (high phone bill) please I'm really desperate now does anyone have any solution to this predicament?

yeh but calling cards don't cut it either sometimes they give problems in connecting or they would say the line is busy or some problem not to mention long hours on the phone with my gf, so got any other solution?

yup got an international package and thats ridiculous too after all the surcharges and taxes makes you think you should have just stick with your normal phone

purchase an international calling card, sold at most stores like walgreens, CVS, and use the minutes to call Jamaica, that's what I did when I went there on vacation to call home. It's MUCH less expensive than direct dial!

Give your home phone provider a call and see if you can get some kind of special phone service. They may be able to give you some kind of international package or maybe just a Jamaica only international package. Sometimes they are willing to work something out if they are able to.

In jamaica they hav a phone called a megaphone. this phone give u free calls. u could make the person r persons u call get one then they would call u for free.

Does the cable company in your area offer phone service too? Our cable company has phone service and when you have a phone through them, you get free long distance.

tell ur frinds in jamaica to get mega phone or the cble and wireless calling plan to overses,.,,, they only pay 999 jamaican a month and get unlimited calls to US UK and Canada...
