Yes, Add a lil (2-3 caps in a medium bucket of water) vinegar in your final rinse. it helps get the detergent out which is reponsible for the dulling the black color. But make sure its the coarse cheap synthetic kind, not gourmet.
Another great solution is the sunsilk black shampoo. its great for lacey, strechy and synthetic clothes. washes right off and the black color leaves behind a nice shine. tried and tested!
While putting them in the dryer, keep them together. the lint of other clothes looks worst on black.

I like to wash my dark clothes inside out with Woolite and I put a 1/3 C of baking soda in the water to get out any residue. I wash them on the cold/cold water cycle and I hang them to dry.

There are 2 products you could try (although I've never tried either) ... The first is Woolite Dark, which is Woolite made specifically for dark/black clothing. The other is more of a specialty product called "Bleach Stop." I've never seen it in stores, but I know I've seen it on websites that sell products for fabric crafts, such as batik and tie-dye.

I wash my black clothes on cold with Woolite, and dry them on the lowest temperature possible. This seems to work. I also just bought a front-loading washing machine, which is much gentler on clothes, and more energy-efficient, too.

Darks to look new wash after wash use:-
* Detergents that contain cellulase enzymes to
help remove fuzzy surface fibers and pills (fuzz
balls) that appear on cellulosic fiber (cotton,
linen, lyocell, ramie, and rayon) giving your darks a brighter
appearance wash after wash.
Just like in the commercials, your darks will look shiny & new.
Now I'm sounding like a commercial ;-)
Best of luck!
