Integrity.

I used to admire intelligence, but then I met intelligent people who used their gifts to take advantage of others.

Integrity is the commitment to stay in character at all times. Most people have weak moments, and do the expedient thing when the going gets tough. People with integrity learn to survive the tough moments, and in time learn to diminish their impact. They may have tales of interest.

Somebody that listens and let's you finsh what you have to say and really thinks about what you say. And then is able to come up with something to say on top of that. It doesn't mean that they will have the answer to a problem but perhaps more imporant a differnt veiw of the subject.

You can only be friends superficially with someone who won't hear what you really have to say.

If I have an enemy my friend should also treat him as his enemy.That is our expectation.A friend can not have an independant judgement in certain matters.
