Evil exsists in every religion.
Black magick is not a smart or "nice" thing to do, its like praying for suffering for another person. Which I see alot of Christians do.

Magic exists, but not like it does in movies. Magic is energy found within ourselves, around us, and throughout all nature. It can't break the laws of nature, for it IS the laws of nature. Through study, one can focus this energy through spells or rituals. Of course, magic never produces spectacular effects like in movies, in fact you may never even realize that a spell has worked until the desired outcome happens. In truth, we all practice magic without knowing it. The best comparison to magic is a Christian's prayer. It's the same idea.

Magic is a matter of perspective. How can one determine the relative good or bad of an action without a frame of reference? With that in mind, black Magic is more negative in nature whereas white magic is more positive.

Another way to look at it...
Magic uses Energy in order for it to work. Where that energy comes from determines the Black or White of it more than the consequence. Black Magic uses a persons own life force. That quintessential energy that makes us who we are and keeps us breathing. It is a powerful source and readily available, but it eventually burns out the user.

Positive or White Magic relies upon the renewable energy from the Earth, Sun, Moon, etc... or the Surrounding Energies. These can also be depleted, but are renewable through nature cycles. Its complicated, but I think you get my point. :-)

Yes, it is real. This is what God says about it in Revelation 22:14-15. Blessed are those who wash their robes, (those who have accepted Jesus and are forgiven), that they may have the right to the tree of life (eternal life) and may go through the gates into the city (Heaven). Outside are the dogs (the unforgiven), those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

If you want to learn about the subject without having to sort through a lot of anonymous answers by strangers, about whom you know nothing, including whether they know anything, there's a way to learn.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library.

Magic is neither white, nor black; good, nor evil. Only the person using it and their intentions. Now, with this said, are there people who use magic for evil or negative ends?

ABSOLUTELY!! In my path there are some people who use it for healing and helping others. There are also people who use it to curse and cause harm. Same path, similar spells and tools.

It is not the magic, but the person who make it "white" or "black".

I am afraid it does exist but these things are often hyped up in the movies e.g. witches don't fly around on broom sticks, I imagine that kind of power is simply not available to most witches....but there is a dark source of power: the devil and his minions from which witches etc. gain their various powers.
