I need to split £60000 in 6 months, so that's 10,000 a month but what does that wok out to be by percentage for each month? to make up 100% What does that work out to be?

if £60000 is 100%
then £1 would be 100/60000 %
so £10000 would be 100 *10000/60000 % = 16.67%

It works out to :

1/6 * 100 = 16.667% of the original per month

Hey the equation is smallest number divided by biggest number multiplied by 100.

So in this case it is 10 000/60 000*100= 16.667

to calculate any percentage you divide the amount for which you calculate to the total amount and multiply the result by 100. In this case (1/6)*100 = 0,16rec*100=16,66rec% or approx 16,67%
