In tennis, I stepped wrong and dislocated my knee. When I fell, I caught myself with my hand. I was in so much pain in my knee, and couldn't see straight for a good ten minutes. They had the trainer come and help me up, check it out etc.

A couple minutes later, my hand was really sore. After a while, I couldn't move it from side to side. Within ten minutes It was bruised and I couldn't hold it up. I was in so much pain that I forgot about my knee.

About an hour and a half later, I had to go to the ER, I couldn't move my hand and it dangled weird. They said that I probably broke it, but wouldn't see it on the Xray for a couple days, the calcium had to fill in the crack for it to be visible.

They gave me a semi-hard cast to keep it stable.

Yesterday i was in excrutiating pain all day, today it is low, aching pain. Does it sound broken? Would I have been able to move it at all? Or is it common to stiffen up? I broke my arm before, catching myself as well.

What do you think
