In order to have a true purpose, there has to be a God who has given us a mission. If God exists, our mission must be to seek Him.

If we reject God, then we need all our psychological tricks to get through life despite the overwhelming pointlessness of it all. Keep busy and stop thinking. Focus on pleasant thoughts. Inflate your ego by doing good deeds that make you feel good about yourself. These tricks and others will help.

In my opinion, it's not just for pleasure.
what we see in our everyday life, makes me sure about that!
we can live better and have more pleasure but we can't get red of this world's bad happenings and situations, I think if there's some place to have pure pleasure, it's would not be this world!
BesidesThe chance of having pleasure has not given to all equally, I think it would not be fair then if the world was just for pleasure.
I myself believe in the life after death, I think this world is just a part of life where we live maybe to "grow up" for the other world.

The learned ego seeks repeating the little pleasures it's been programmed are its limits.

The authentic Self seeks the experience of "eternal aliveness" which is the abstract truth and unique to each.

Until the Self observes and discards the ego limitations, we only exist is a kind of purgatory. Reality mirrors mind.

We live cause that's what happens when you're put here on earth. Got to do what you got to do.
You can find pleasure in life, by finding what it is that makes you happy to be alive. Your passion.
Live.......... and learn.

I think the reason we're here is to help others.not only fellow humans but animals and even lower forms of life..have you ever picked up a worm after a rain storm dying in a puddle and placed it back in the grass?doing good things makes us feel good and in turn other people doing good will also at some point come back to you.

Humans, animals, plants, and all the living things created by Mother Nature, were basically put on this Earth to reproduce and plague the planet with more humans and things. It's sad, really.
