What all is needed to purchase homes, what process do I go through to get homes, do I buy homes using money out of my own pocket or do I apply for bank loans? What exactly should I be prepared for?

As an investor, you don't need a real estate license. And yes it cost you money out of your pocket. Owners can buy and sell their own properties. But it's not wise.

To sell real estate as a business, you do need a license. And yes you have to pay for all the classes and the state exam. But that is only the beginning. You should have about 2 years worth of income to live on during your first year or so.

Read. You'll have to do the same thing when you study for the real estate license. If you're unwilling to research on your own, it's not likely you'll want to do the necessary research to help someone else.

You don't need a license to purchase homes. All you need is money -- yours or the banks.
