RE: Christopher H - i actually hunt too, In Sabah i hunt for deer (barking deer or payao) thats why i posted this question. What i don;t like is meaningless killing/torturing of animals and over-hunting. e.g. Me and 5 other guys go hunting and we shoot two deer and leave (2 full grown payao can last you for a year between 5 people), we have the oppurtunity to shoot more but we don't because we respect the jungle and nature. Then when we get back to the closest town for a drink stop we hear 2 rich west malaysians talking with the shop owner about how they shot 8 deer between the two of them but couldn't carry all of them so they only ended up taking 3 and leaving the rest to rot in the jungle. So yes i agree humans like other carnivores need to kill in order to eat meat, but its also our duty to be reasonable and do it in moderation.

Yesterday, I used Shieldtox to kill a lizard living under my oven. Then it jumped into a pail filled with washing solutions. I make sure it did not jump out. waited for 15 minutes, still not dead. I did't know that lizard can breath in the soapy water that long,
Finally I emptied the whole pail into the toilet bowl and flushed the toilet.Guess what? It's still alive. I can't wait any longer, just take the aerosol spray and sprayed almost half a can and closed the lid tight. 15 minutes later, found the poor fellow landed on the base, motionless..... Phew......guilty like hell.

Nope..never with gun or a knife coz thats simply sick!
i just leave that job for others to do it!..but in my younger days, i killed my pet gold fishes by bringing them out from the aquarium with my own hands and make them dizzy and throw them back into the aquarium!! and day after..that fellar is dead!! my dad was furious at me! ....lol

Certainly, I'm a predator. In this world you are either predator or prey. Humans didn't claw their way to the top of the food chain to eat tofu.

Unless you are a vegetarian, you are a predator. Don't be ashamed to admit, and do be opposed to those of us who are not too spineless to do our own hunting.

Yes. I used to hunt to supplement and to vary my food sources. I haven't hunted in a long time because I lost interest in it. And it got hard to hunt on other peoples property, they don't like strangers tramping around with guns.

When I was younger, I bludgeoned a few domesticated animals till they died..
But dont worry, I've gotten help.. I'm not all that psychotic anymore... :-)

Knife yes - fish, chickens, crabs, prawns & stuffs for food.
Not for pure pleasure.

But those animals like rats, cockroaches & stuffs like that use sprays & drown them or fire them up. But for geckos' my bro & I used to shoot wth our "rubber bands" guns.
